Two Fat Guys BBQ Sauce Review + GIVEAWAY!

This is some crazy delicious BBQ sauce.

I met the two fat guys themselves at the Illinois GFAF Expo, who told me about their strict < 5ppm gluten ELISA testing protocol. I knew I had to get my hands on some for a review/giveaway after devouring my sample at the show–served on a Frito!

I used their mild sauce (perfect little kick!) to make a tasty BBQ Chicken and Zucchini Casserole (recipe here) and the real Two Fat Guys flavor came through. With five different sauce flavor/heat options, TFG is easily my new go-to sauce for my cooking!

  • Really hope I win!! I LOVE BBQ sauce. Wegman's brand is my favorite so far--I love how it is naturally Gluten Free and is so clearly labeled. Sadly...no Wegman's near me now (Mom brings me bottles every time she visits!) so I am looking for a new brand to try.

Gotta love moms, right? This is some great sauce! Good luck!

  • I love adding BBQ sauce to my homemade sweet potato salmon sliders (http://caseythecollegeceliac.blogspot.com/2014/12/salmon-and-sweet-potato-sliders-recipe.html). The combo of sweet and tangy is to die for!

    • briwolin

Oh man! I must try those--right up my alley!

I am a vegetarian so I don't have a BBQ recipe I like, however, I do enjoy dipping my veggie nuggets into BBQ sauce!

    • briwolin

Sounds tasty! Have you ever BBQed a block of tofu? It's delicious!

  • TastyMeditation

Oh goodness, I don't have a BBQ recipe! Sounds like something to put on my list :)

    • briwolin

Definitely! Recipe tasting on the 4th? :)

My favorite recipe is BBQ Chicken Pizza. I make the dough from scratch a couple of days in advance, top it with a bit of tomato sauce and BBQ sauce. I add mozzarella, grilled chicken, caramelized onions, bacon, arugula, smoked cheddar and when it comes off the grill I hit it with some fresh cilantro.

    • briwolin

That sounds INCREDIBLE! I've never made a grilled pizza!
