Powdered Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies {GF, Eggless/V optional}

Take a look at the Barney Butter website and you’ll see the latest and greatest almond butter innovation, which I call a “BB Boost!”

Barney Butter Powdered Almond Butter

So, this powdered almond butter craze that Barney Butter has started– it’s quite something. They just launched their second flavor, chocolate AB, and I’m still trying to figure out how to use the original! Oh, and those single serve packets are coming. Talk about that BB Boost on-the-go!

For someone like myself who doesn’t drink all the protein shakes, doesn’t start my day with a smoothie {cup or bowl} instead of breakfast, and doesn’t seek to supplement my protein, powdered AB just means I can make my goodies taste perfectly almond-y without the worry of overly dense baked goods! #bakingwin

Here’s a reminder about the Barney Butter powdered AB:

  • 100% natural
  • Non-GMO verified
  • 1 ingredient– almonds!
  • Peanut free, paleo, keto, vegan, gluten free

Here’s a recipe for my favorite chocolate chip cookies– with an added BB boost! Though I make enough to freeze part of every batch, these definitely don’t last long.

What should I make with powdered almond butter next? Drop me an idea in the comments and I’ll see what I can do!

Don’t forget about my other Barney Butter recipes: powdered AB smoothies, almond flour pancakes, and almond butter chocolate drizzle cookies!

Take it easy, but take it.

*Reminder, I am a Barney Butter Ambassador. They send me goodies for me to make creations to share with you in exchange for my posting recipes!*

These look so yummy and perfect for the holiday season! Gonna have to give them a try sometime soon :)

    • Brianna

I bet they would be great for all the fall holidays! I'll have to explore how to integrate the powder into other cookie types for the upcoming seasons :)

  • Jules Shepard

Baking win is right! This stuff is great!

    • Brianna

Right?! So easy and so tasty! Love things with 1 ingredient!

  • Kortney

How is this different from almond butter? I'm intrigued... feel like this would be something to try for my daily dose of almonds, which I have been very bad at doing.

    • Brianna

It's a powder instead of a butter! So they dehydrate the almonds and people can add to smoothies, shakes, baking, or add water to make into a butter-like paste!

  • Kristina

Barney Butter IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES - the flavor is so good. I have been wondering if this new powder is similar in flavor? I definitely need to try it, and then immediately make these cookies!

    • Brianna

It is similar, but definitely less strong! Even with 1/3c in the batch, it's a hint of almond but not super almond-y!

  • Sarah

Who doesn't love a good cookies?! I love them even more when they're healthy and nut butter is always a win in my book!

  • Alisa Fleming

These cookies look delicious! I really love powdered pb for infusing nutty flavor into dishes, and didn't realize there was powdered almond butter now too!

  • Kathy Hester

Sometimes powdered ingredients make cooking so much easier. We love to add it in when we bake.

    • Brianna

Agreed! What do you like to bake with it?

  • Nellie

I love homemade cookies. It is always helpful and healthier than buying beautiful packaging. This is a delicious recipe I to add to my recipe book!

    • Brianna

Thanks so much, Nellie! Let me know if you make them!

  • Erin Dee

These cookies look so delicious! I'll have to check out Barney Butter! Thanks for sharing!

  • Sarah

So easy and they look delicious! Can't go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate. Adding these to whip up for my next cookie cravings.

  • Kristen Wood

Wow, these look so amazing! I've never tried powdered nut butter of any sort before. I can't wait to check them out!

  • Sara

So, have you had a chance to try to make some sort of almond butter filling using this powder along with a bit of regular (full fat) almond butter? Maybe sweetened with a bit of powdered Swerve? Or even mixed with coconut butter like for keto fat bomb snacks? Or mixed with some (baking) chocolate too to help hold a firm shape at room temperature?

  • Kioti

So yummy! But is there something i could use instead of butter? I've made the recipe as is and it was awesome. Msde it with splenda and it was also great!

    • Brianna

Thanks for trying it out and for reaching out! While I have not tried it, I know coconut oil is usually a 1:1 replacement for butter. Please let me know how it works out!

      • Kioti

Thank you! ♡I get paid Friday and will try then!
